Scam email: Transglobal Express - Shipping Documentation (TG-1569311)

Watch out for this fake email with attached malware-in-a-document, purportedly from Transglobal Express.

At this time of year, scam emails about supposed deliveries are particularly effective, as people and businesses are expecting parcels and other delivered items to arrive. Be on your guard and don't assume a delivery notification is genuine - especially if it requests that you download an attachment.

This email was first seen by us on 7/12/15, has the title Transglobal Express - Shipping Documentation (TG-1569311) and came from a Macedonian IP address. The links it contains (which we have removed) appear to genuine and the email has a convincing-looking design, so the sting is in the document.

  1. Print two copies of your label(s). Securely attach one copy to your parcel and give one to the UPS driver upon collection.
  2. Please use the label(s) we have provided to avoid any unwanted billing complications with UPS.
